Welcome to the website and registration page for the Second Symposium on Applied Perception in Graphics and Visualization (APGV 05). Sponsored by ACM SIGGRAPH and co-located with the European Conference on Visual Perception

Location: A Coruña, Spain
Date: August 26th through 28th, 2005
Venue: PALEXCO, Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos

Research in computer graphics and visualization has great potential to benefit from, and contribute to, research in perception. This symposium seeks to provide a forum for the wider exchange of ideas and information between members of the graphics and visualization communities who are using insights from visual/auditory/haptic perception to advance the design and guide the evaluation of methods for more effective visual/auditory/haptic representation, and members of the vision sciences community who are using computer grahpics to facilitate the investigation of fundamental processes of perception.

Guidelines for APGV Poster Formatting:

Posters should be in portrait (vertical) format.

Maximum dimensions:

• 1.95 metres high
  
• 0.95 metres wide

Posters must be attached with non-permanent adhesive (e.g. blue-tac), to be provided by the presenter. Push-pins, thumb-tacks, or staples can NOT be used.
