Ray tracing project
due: 4/20
Use POVRay to create a single frame visualization of some aspect of computer
science or a computer. This could be a physical model of a computer component
or a conceptual model of an algorithm or data structure. Once rendered, you
may edit the resulting image in a graphics editor or presentation program.
Submission
Submit the following files by email:
- Your POV file for the model.
- The resulting graphic (bmp, png, jpg, ppt, word?)
- A short README explaining what post-rendering work you did on the image, and a description of what it is you are rendering.
Grading
Your grade for this project will be based on the following:
- Model and detail.
- View: The camera placement, and lighting of the scene.
- Annotation: how easy it is for me to see what you are modelling.
