Cellar

Its tradition; castles have secret passages, cellars have smugglers tunnels & adventurers to search for them, so off you go. You work your way round the room rolling each wine barrel from it's arched niche in the wall to check behind it.

You haul the bags piled opposite the staircase from their place, but the only secret revealed is a tiny golden spider web. Discouraged you push everything back into place & sit on the bottom stair to catch your breath & contemplate with a distinct lack of enthusiasm the notion of searching all the bricks & flagstones in the room.
