Instructions

This is a short writing exercise. Your paper must be typewritten (word processed) and double-spaced on 8-1/2 x 11 paper (no ragged edges). Use standard English with complete sentences. Grading will be based both on the content and the quality of your writing.

Write a one-page paper addressing the following questions:
 
  • What kept the early Internet from achieving the popularity of the World Wide Web?

  • Are the Internet and the World Wide Web now the same? Why?

    This assignment is due at the beginning of class on Monday, January 29. Remember that late work is not accepted. For the record, class begins when the Glatfelter tower clock chimes.
