All teams had correct Alpha-Beta search implementations.  Only one section team underperformed the SimpleMancalaPlayer with two teams close enough to merit a playoff round: DS and SB.

playoff:
Interestingly, both players won the most games as second player, going 1:1 for matches.  The tie-breaking condition, number of games won, was decisively achieved by SB, although it's interesting to note that DS scored more points.  This is, perhaps, an example of playing well to score at the expense of winning less often.  (Players seeking to elevate priority of winning can treat a win as effectively winning all of the points for a score difference heuristic, or achieving the highest possible heuristic evaluation.)

boss:
In the boss battle, the prior section boss, "BK" by Barry Yang and Kasen Groth from the Spring 2023 CS 371 section, easily defeated SB in the boss battle, winning the most games both as first and second player, with 44% more wins and 23% more points. SB utilized more game play time in its time management.
