Gitendra was going more for the artistic but I just didn't have time to crop the shot he wanted. Leo looks ok, rather handsome, but still ok. No comments. He really insisted in me not taking a picture, and assured he hated me after I did.

Cool Videos!

We recorded some of our tests so folks (that is Leo and Todd's favorite word), could see how the project looks and how our robot works. This videos are compressed with H.264, and you'll need the latest version of the Quicktime plugin to play them. No worries though, the files are very small so you won't have to wait for a long time to see them, rejoice! Click on the names to open them.

90 Degrees Track (5.4MB) - This is the only video that actually has titles, transitions and cool stuff because it was the first to be edited (oddly enough), however it demonstrates how our robot behaves with intersections, corners and 90 degree turns. Perspective Line Following (14.4MB) - With some perspective and flying zoom effects we follow our "Space Trooper" during his mission to follow a rather crooked line which also involves turns.
90+ Degrees Track (8.3MB) - Now using fixed perspective (bird's eye kind of) the robot interacts with a track of combines 90 degree turns and wider angles. This is probably the longest track and one of the most tested for all our goals and fixes. Ted's H*mper (2MB) - This is the kind of humor, that if you laugh about it you are truly a geek. The only one that turned all this hours of work into entertainment was Ted (who belongs to Team #2) and this video shows one of the most parodized moments among CS371 Students and visitors to the lounge.
