Avatars were created by adapting existing images to avatar format, adaptation varies from a simple cropping to a complete recreation of the image. Avatars created thus are commonly referred to in the web of avatars as 'original'. In the absence of a term to more accurately distinguish this type of avatar from those which are completely original, these avatars were adapted by afactor. No avatars were used from other collections.
