Worked with prof. Neller on getting robot and connection instructions
Worked on connecting to the robot and establishing remote connections with our devices. Then, we updated the Pi software and tested hardware functionality. The camera motor has a slight glitch where it continually wobbles, but that was an expected problem. All of the other hardware worked perfectly.
Began construction of an HTML which logs our work and acts as a website for the group. The goal is to have files, logs, and our mission and results. Complete index.html and goals.html
We worked for several hours on the robot. During this work session, we again had some trouble connecting to the robot. After we were all set, we worked on creating our own hardware testing code to test the functionality of the camera, the wheels and steering, and sensors that we will eventually use for line-following. Also began to calibrate the robot as directed in the assignment.
Continued work on the HTML site. Claude AI assisted with some development. Finished setting up worklog pages for each member, which will have to be updated at the end of the project. Setting up template logs for each member took some time. Also added a media page for any photos/ videos of testing, which we will populate at a later date.
Made final changes to the HTML template. Everything is ready to input into the site (pictures, logs, code etc.)
Worked with the group on extensive line-following testing. We ran into many issues with the 90ยบ turn.
Made penultimate changes to our line-following and HTML files. Tested extensively.
Made final revisions to our project.
